2020 Week 22 Peach, Tomato and Basil Mason Jar Salad

Ingredients 

Dressing 

2 TBSP Balsamic vinegar 

4 TBSP Olive oil 

Salad

25 cherry tomato 

1 peach 

5 cups mixed lettuce 

5 fresh basil leaves 

2 large chicken breasts, grilled and cubed 

Instructions 

  1. Stir together the dressing ingredients.  Divide and pour the dressing into the bottom of 5 pint size mason jars. 
  2. Chop up the peach. 
  3. Place 5 cherry tomatoes into the bottom of each mason jar.
  4. Divide and continue layering each jar in the following order; tomato, peach, basil, chicken and lettuce. 
  5. When ready to eat, turn the jar upside down on a plate and allow contents to empty onto plate. 
  6. Enjoy!
