2020 Week 22 Grilled Chinese Chicken

Ingredients 

1 tsp hoisin sauce 

1 TBSP plum sauce 

2 tsp extra virgin olive oil 

1 large clove garlic

1 tsp grated ginger 

2 TBSP liquid aminos 

1 TBSP rice wine vinegar 

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat.
  2. In a bowl whisk together all the ingredients.
  3. Add chicken to a large zip-top bag or glass container with lid. Pour the marinade over the chicken.
  4. Press out the extra air in the zip-top bag and seal. Squeeze the chicken in the bag, to make sure all chicken is covered in marinade.
  5. Place the bag in the freezer or a minimum of two hours in the refrigerator before grilling.
  6. If freezing or use later, place the bag in the refrigerator the night before to allow it to defrost. 
  7. Grill chicken until cooked through.
  8. Enjoy!
