2019 Week 39 Grilled Italian Steak

Ingredients:

1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil

1/4 cup red wine vinegar

2 cloves garlic, grated

3 Tablespoons of Italian spices 

2 teaspoons honey

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

1 2-pound top sirloin steak

Instructions

  1. In a bowl whisk together 1 all the ingredients.
  2. Add steak to a large zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the steak.
  3. Press out the extra air in the zip-top bag and seal. Squeeze the steak in the bag, to make sure all steak is covered in marinade.
  4. Place the bag in the freezer.
  5. Place the bag in the refrigerator the night before to allow it to defrost. 
  6. Grill steak until desired doneness.
  7. Enjoy!
