Ingredients:
1 cup (gluten free, low sugar) ketchup
1/2 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 teaspoons dried oregano
3 cloves garlic, crushed
Honey, to coat
2 rib eye steaks or sirloins
Sea salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a bowl whisk together 1 all the ingredients.
- Add steak to a large zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the steak.
- Press out the extra air in the zip-top bag and seal. Squeeze the steak in the bag, to make sure all steak is covered in marinade.
- Place the bag in the freezer.
- Place the bag in the refrigerator the night before to allow it to defrost.
- Grill steak to desired temperature.
