2019 Week 26 Marinated Grilled Skirt Steak

Ingredients:

1 orange, thinly sliced with peel

1/2 onion, thinly sliced

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 1/4 pounds skirt steak

sea salt and fresh ground black pepper

1 cup light-colored beer (preferably lager style)

1/2 cup liquid aminos 

Instructions

  1. In a bowl whisk together 1 all the ingredients.
  2. Add steak to a large zip-top bag. Pour the marinade over the steak.
  3. Press out the extra air in the zip-top bag and seal. Squeeze the steak in the bag, to make sure all steak is covered in marinade.
  4. Place the bag in the freezer.
  5. Place the bag in the refrigerator the night before to allow it to defrost. 
  6. Grill steak to desired tempature.
  7. Enjoy!
