2018 Week 4 Southwest Grilled Steak with Lime Butter

INGREDIENTS

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon coconut sugar

1 teaspoon cocoa powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

2 Ribeye or sirloin steaks 

LIME BUTTER

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1 serrano chili, minced

1 tablespoons dried onions

1 tablespoons dried cilantro

1 pinch ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

1. In a small bowl, combine first 8 ingredients.

2. With a spoon or a basting brush, spread seasoning paste over the steaks.

3. Grill steaks to desired doneness.

4. In a small bowl, combine all lime butter ingredients.

5. Drizzle over steaks just before serving or serve separately for dipping.
