Thanksgiving GF Biscuits

Ingredients 

2 cups Bob’s Red Mill Biscuit and Baking Mix 

1 tsp Xanthan Gum 

1 tsp sea salt 

2.5 tsp baking powder 

6 TBSP, cubed frozen butter

3/4 buttermilk 

Directions 

  1. Preheat oven to 425. 
  2. In a large bowl combine the flour, xanthan gum, salt and baking powder. 
  3. Use a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse cornmeal. 
  4. Stir the buttermilk until incorporated. 
  5. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface to your desired thickness. *Keep in mind that these biscuits will not rise very much. 
  6. Chill biscuits in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until done. 
  8. Enjoy!
